An opportunity to be involved once or as many times as you would like. All interkom events have chaperones in order to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for student participants. Being a chaperone is easy and fun. All you need is a watchful eye and a caring attitude. Register to be a volunteer chaperone and we’ll send you our list of events with times and dates for you to sign up for. Take advantage of an opportunity to hang out with students. You never know how they’ll surprise you.

Have a knack for planning events? Do you enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of seeing a project through from start to completion? We strive to produce quality events and activities and volunteers make it happen! interkom is looking for volunteers to be part of our event planning team. Event organizing involves everything from transportation logistics to venue decoration. There are lots of ways for you to be involved and have fun getting to know other parents and students. Register to be part of the event planning team and we’ll connect you with the role that’s right for you.

interkom is seeking to build programming in the neighborhoods of Shanghai’s international schools and communities. This gives students the opportunity to take part in smaller community groups. These are generally specialized programs designed to supplement International School Intramural activities. Think you have some great ideas on developing programs for students? Get a hold of us!

interkom appreciates advice and wise council. If you are interested in providing information, advice, suggestions or offering creative solutions to problems we invite you to join us. We have a group of parents and community leaders who meet periodically to support and develop our program.

interkom is looking for Parents from each school who are willing to help us distribute materials for events and the program as well as sell tickets during appropriate times. On another level, interkom is seeking parents from each school who are willing to put on smaller events for several schools within close vicinity to each other.
